MYSTERY WRITING

The fifth graders had to be detectives last week!  They came across a crime scene!  Each student had to write a narrative on what they thought the mystery was!  Boy, do we have some strong writers heading to the middle school!

CONSTITUTION

Today we finished our American Revolution unit by learning about the Declaration of Independence. Be sure to ask your child if they can tell you what the four main parts are!

HUMAN IMPACT

We are coming to the end of our Ecosystem unit.  We're ending the unit by learning how humans impact ecosystems in both positive and negative ways.  Today each student received a scenario that impacts a particular animal species found within a biome that we have studied.  Each student will research their scenario and report out to their classmates how humans are connected.

BATTLE OF YORKTOWN & THE TREATY OF PARIS

Last week in Social Studies we learned about the Battle of Yorktown, and the Treaty of Paris.  This week we'll learn about the Declaration of Independence.
